Drumhowan Club Notes

Platinum  Tanks  RFL Div 2 A – The first game for the Bs  at  the moment is pencilled in for Sunday 12th March at 2pm  at home  to Seán Mc Dermotts.
 
Eurotech JFL – the first league game for the As is provisionally pencilled in for Saturday 8th April at 7pm away to Scotstown.
 
Connolly Meats MFL Div 1 –  the minors first game will be at home in Drumhowan on Tuesday 28th March  with a 6.30pm throw in against Scotstown
 
U14  – First league game in Division 3 takes place on Saturday 11th March at 2pm. The team hope to have a challenge game on this Saturday afternoon.
U12  –  Spring League Commences Saturday 18th March
U10 – The U10s took part in an indoor Blitz in Ballybay on Saturday morning last. Despite being short a number of regulars the young side competed very well in games against Castleblayney and Oram. It takes place this Saturday morning again in Ballybay Recreation Centre from 11.30 to 1pm. All players please be there for 11.20am.
Stewards Training Course for voluntary stewards to help assist with major games in the county at all venues  will take place in Monaghan GAA Training Grounds, Cloghan on  Friday 31st March 6.30pm to 9.30pm AND Saturday 1st April 9.30am to 12.30pm.

This course is designed to equip potential stewards with the knowledge, skills and competence to act as a steward and you will be trained and accredited by the Portobello College, Dublin. It is important to have qualified personnel in the county to run major events in accordance with Croke Park directives and clubs are expected to make people available for this Stewards Training Course which is provided free of charge. Those interested please contact either  Michael Carroll at 086-1041165 or by email at developmentofficer.monaghan@gaa.ie or Declan Flanagan 087-2510957 or by email at vicechairperson.monaghan@gaa.ie to book your place.
