Youth Affairs

Under 12s – Zone H

Currin Under 12’s started off the clubs year with a trip to Ballybay on Saturday 18th March. despite a strong start we faded in the second half and went down on a acoreline of 3 03 to 1 13. The wind increased significantly in the second half which didn’t help our cause but it was an encouraging start to the year. Under 12 training resumes this Saturday morning at 9:30am. This will likely be held at the Currin pitch but details will be sent by text confirming venue.

Under 14s – Division 3

With our home game against Killanny postponed due to very wet pitch, Patrick Emmetts season gets underway on Saturday 23rd March with a trip to Tyholland. Throw in at 2pm. All support appreciated. Training continues Tuesday evening at Aghaog new pitch. Details to go out by text.

Under 16s – Division 3

Starts Thursday 30th March – The Championship will be played from July to August. Training will be at Currin and home games will be played at Aghabog. Details to go out by text.

St Patrick’s Day

Well done to the large group of Currin Juveniles and parents who walked behind the Currin banner at the St Patrick’s Eve parade in Clones last Thursday evening. It was great fun and all looked terrific.

Girls Development Panels

Of course we continue to follow the progress of Currin girls, Megan Agnew representing Aghabog, and Shannon Murphy representing Killeevan in the County Development panels at Under 14 and Under 13 respectively.

Boys Development Panels

Well done too to Tiarnan Kearns who continues on with the Under 15 Development panel. The trials for the under 14 development panel continue over Easter. Text message with more details will be sent to eligible players parents nearer the time. And of course best of luck to Kevin Murphy who is a vital member of the county minor panel.
