Carrickmacross Hurling Notes
JUVENILE
Our U8 & U10 are in phoenix center on Saturday evening from 5 to 6. If your child wants to join in the fun and learn the skill of hurling just call in on Saturday evening. Neighbourhood parishes are very welcome both boys and girls. Helmets and Hurleys supplied.
U10
Last Sunday finish the last round of U10 South Ulster indoor blitz in DKIT. Over the 3 rounds all kids had fun and got plenty of Hurling. They played teams from Blackrock, Croabh Rua, Castleblayney and St. Patricks. The club would like to thank Ryan Gaffney Hurling Development Officer for arranging the blitz.
U12
Next Sunday our U12 have their final round of South Ulster indoor blitz in DKIT. The lads are out on Saturday evening on phoenix Astro from 5 to 6. Good luck on Sunday to all players.
U14
Hurling continues every Sunday morning in phoenix center from 11 to 12. Need all players out as this is Feile year. Hope to see yous there.
BINGO
Do not forget Bingo is back this Friday 10th March in Holy Family Hall at 8-00 sharp. Great prizes to be won and Jackpot on the night must go. Hope to see yous there.
REGISTRATION
All players from juvenile to seniors must be register to play. See Stephen McKenna for forms. Keep hurling everyone.
5K RUN/WALK
The club will be supporting the Sosad 5k run/walk this St. Patrick day where all players and club supporters can join in.
ST. PATRICK DAY PARADE
The club will be taking part in this year St. Patrick day parade. All are ask to wear the clubs halfzip if they have them. Meeting at Dundalk road at 2-30. Hope to see yous there.
COUNTY SENIORS
Well done to the Seniors who had a win over Louth in Inniskeen last Sunday with a score of 2-12 to 2-09. Next game is away to Donegal this Sunday at 2-00.
