Reserve Div 1B: Blackhill get their season kick started on March 19^th when they are due to play away at Magheracloone at 12 noon.

Intermediate Football League: The first round of fixtures in this competition is set for the weekend of the 8^th of April with Blackhill playing hosts to Carrickmacross at 6.30pm on Sat evening.

Pancake Tuesday: The organisers of this recent fundraising event would like to share their sincere gratitude to everyone who supported the event on the day and to those who bought raffle tickets and donated prizes for the draw. Overall it was a great success with 4500 euro being raised. A tremendous effort indeed. This money is being donated to C’Blayney Cancer, C’Blayney Care and The Rotunda Hospital. The money raised will allow these charity organisations to continue their great work. Well done to all involved.

Juveniles: The under 8 team travel to Carrick this weekend to partake in an indoor competition on Saturday from 12 – 2pm. Good luck to them. Training for all under 6s continues at 10.45am in the hall at Rath na nÓg. All new comers are most welcome.

Coaching Workshop:  13^th March @ Cremartin hall at 7.30pm. Gaelic Start – a special demonstration by Rory Beggan & Ann Mc Kenna on how to best help & assist in the coaching of Under 6s & 8s. This course is free of charge and we would love to see a good few from our club there on the night. Anyone interested in helping out in anyway please contact Matthew 0870666914.

Membership: The annual membership is now due. Players membership is 50e (students 10e), full membership is 10e and social membership is 10e. You can get your membership from behind the bar, any committee member or alternatively have a spare tenor ready at the house!

Wedding Bells: Congratulations to former Reserve winning captain Damien Daly who got engaged to Marie Sheridan. A huge congratulations also goes to former midfielder Dermot Mc Mahon who got engaged to Diana Slakaityte. Wishing them much luck and happiness.
