TOP 4 LOTTO

Another €100 has been added to the Jackpot and it now stands at an eye watering €11,200 after there was no winner of Mondays draw. Numbers drawn were 09, 19, 23, 26. Weekly winners of €15 each were, Hugh Mc Guirk Swanns Cross, Patrick Sheridan Rockcorry, Martin Smyth Swanns Cross, Phylis Connolly Newbliss, Jimmy Carroll Rockcorry, Caroline Quinn Rockcorry, Jacinta King Newbliss, Aoibhean Carolan Aghabog. The next draw on Monday 27th will be in Fitzpatricks, Rockcorry.

National Football League

The National football league returns this weekend with Monaghan making the trip to the Kingdom to take on Kerry in Killarney at 2pm on Sunday. Best of luck to Malachy and his team and indeed to all the supporters who will be making the trip down.

Ladies National football league.

The Monaghan ladies are also making the trip down south to take on Kerry on Sunday at 2pm, with their game throwing in at Listowel. What a pity both games could not be organised as a double header at one venue, but as it is, there will be 2 venues

National Hurling League

If not planning on making the trip to Killarney or Listowel, well then why not make a short trip over to Darver to support the Monaghan hurlers who have had a brilliant start to Division 3A of the national league with 2 wins from 2. They take on Louth on Sunday at 2pm.

Fundraising Table Quiz.

The parents of our juvenile players are holding a fundraising table quiz on Friday night 24th at 8pm in St Marys Hall. Table of 4 is €20, with questions to suit everybody. Everyone Welcome.

Referee Training

A Basic training course for new referees will be held on Friday the 3rd of March and will consist of a further 2 sessions on Tuesday the 7th of March and Friday the 10th. Anyone interested in becoming a referee are asked to forward their names to any committee member. It needs no reminding that without officials we would have no games.

Condolences

The club would like to extends its condolences to former County Board Chairman Padraig Sherry on the passing of his sister Collette. Ar dheis De go raibh a hanam.

Membership

Club membership is now due and can be paid to our club registrar Pat Brannigan or indeed by contacting any member of the committee.

The annual subscription for adults is €30 with all juveniles under the age of 18 €10 per child. Any student that can provide a valid student card the membership fee is €10

Child Protection Courses

A Child Protection course will be held in Cloghan this evening Thursday 23rd. Anyone wishing to be involved in a coaching role with our underage players must have a child protection course completed.. Further details available by contacting John Mc Ardle on 087 2508557
