Breakfast morning – February 12th

Sunday February 12th will see Monaghan and Cavan meet in a local derby in Division 1 of the national football league in St Marys park Castleblayney and what better way to start of the day than a good hearty breakfast. The club will have you covered on that end of things with our annual Breakfast morning in St Marys hall from 9am. So be sure to be heading off on a full stomach by calling in and of course Cavan Supporters passing by are more than welcome.

TOP 4 LOTTO

The jackpot now stands at €11,000 after Monday nights draw was made. The numbers out were 1 – 9 – 15 – 22. Weekly winners of €15 were Ann Carroll Rockcorry, Charlene Mc Ginn/Eamon Fox, Elizabeth Jones Rockcorry, Damien Reilly Newbliss, Amanda Mulligan Rockcorry, Sharon Fox Rockcorry, Colin King Newbliss, Bridie & Sarah Sheridan Rockcorry.

Next weeks draw will take place in Fitzpatricks Rockcorry.

National League

Well done to the Monaghan team who got their Division 1 campagin underway with an excellent away victory to Mayo in Castlebar on Saturday evening. All attention now turns to a local derby this Sunday the 12th with the arrival of newly promoted Cavan to St Marys park Castleblayney.

Child Protection Courses

A Child Protection courses will be held in Cloghan on Thursday 23rd. Anyone wishing to be involved in a coaching role with our underage players must have a child protection course completed. Further details available by contacting John Mc Ardle on 087 2508557

Committee positions..

We still have one or two positions to be confirmed on our committee for 2017, so if you feel like you would like to get involved with the committee for the coming year, just let us know.

It is great to see quite a number of new committee members stepping up and mixing that with the experience already there and that should make for an enjoyable and productive 2017. The more people who get involved the better for our club #Comeonrock

Club Membership

Club membership is now due and can be paid to our club Registrar Pat Brannigan. The annual subscription for adults is €30 with all juveniles under the age of 18 €10 per child. Any student that can provide a valid student card the membership fee is €10.
