Monaghan Harps Lotto: Numbers 8, 14, 21 and 26. Jackpot of €1,200 not won. Meetings: The club’s monthly meetings for February take place this evening (Thursday) in the clubhouse: juvenile at 7pm, senior at 8. Please note change of date due to Monaghan Arch Club’s visit next week.

 

Charity match: All funds raised from our New Year’s Day charity match will go to a local charity/charities to be announced at the presentation of the funds this Sunday night (February 5) in the clubhouse at 10pm. Any sponsorship forms still to be returned must be left into the clubhouse or to organisers Owen Connell and Mary White no later than tomorrow (Friday). Everyone who took part in or supported the charity match is invited to join us for the presentation night on Sunday. All support welcome.

 

Arch Club: Monaghan Arch Club will return to Gavan Duffy Park for their always anticipated annual visit next Thursday (February 9). All support for this will be greatly appreciated.

 

Membership: Registration fees of €20 for 2017 can now be paid to club registrar Kevin Treanor or in the clubhouse. Members can now avail of the GAA’s new ‘GRMA’ scheme, with access to exclusive discounts and special offers. See gaa.ie for more details.

 

Dates to remember: Monaghan Arch Club return to Gavan Duffy Park next Thursday, February 9. We will be participating and hosting at Féile Peil na nÓg 2017 (June 23-25). Keep an eye on club notes for more details on these events.

 

Club Draw: The GAA National Club Draw is back for 2017, once again offering a great selection of prizes. Keep an eye on club notes for details of tickets.

 

Coaching: There are several upcoming coaching courses/workshops in Cloghan. Check the Monaghan GAA website and contact Pádraig Callan if you wish to attend any.

 

County: Good luck to Neil McAdam and the Monaghan senior footballers who start their Allianz NFL campaign against Mayo in Castlebar on Saturday evening.

Gavan Duffy Park: The refurbished Monaghan Harps clubhouse is available to book for functions. We are now taking bookings for 2017; please get in early to avoid disappointment!
