CLUB NOTES
LOTTO
There was no Lotto Jackpot winner. The numbers were 17, 20, 27 and 28. The Lucky Dip winner were: Barry Gemmell, Dermot Farrelly, Rosemarie Cooney and A. Monaghan(CMX). Next weeks Jackpot is €2,300. SPORTS AND EXERCISE NUTRITION TALK
We would like to thank Sharon Courtney for the very informative talk on nutrition in sport which she gave to our juvenile players and parents on Monday evening. Hopefully we all can take something possitive from this talk and we will be able to see the huge benefits of healthy eating on the pitch for years to come. Thank you to JP Mone who was on hand to give his expert advice on Sisu gumshields and his Gaelic Performance gloves. We would also like to thank the players and parents who attended and a big thank you to everyone who helped out in any way.
GUMSHIELDS

MEMBERSHIP
Membership can be paid either online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie or to any committee member. It is club policy that at least one Parent/Guardian are members of the club. Membership fees are €40 for one Parent/Guardian plus one child. €50 for Family Membership which includes: Both Parents/Guardians plus children.
JUVENILE TRAINING
U6’S
The U6 training academy continues indoors this Saturday (11th) from 10am to 11am. Gum shields must be worn.
U8’S
The U8’s have an indoor training session on March 04th in preparation for an indoor league in the Phoenix Centre in March 11th.
U12’S
U12 training will commence on Tuesday 21st of February at 7pm. Training will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.
U14’S
Training this Wednesday(22nd) at 7 and Saturday at 4:30.
U14 County trials take place in Cloughan this Friday from 11 to 12. Good luck to all involved.
U16’S
U16 training Wednesday 8pm to 9pm and Sunday 10 – 11.
JUVENILE MEETING
The juvenile club are drawing up a three year plan with the aid of Conor Fadian (Monaghan County Development) in the tea rooms on Wednesday the 1st of March from 7 to 9. All juvenile coaches and committee members are asked to attend so that we can help develop and direct the future or juvenile football in our club.

LADIES NOTES
SENIORS
Our Seniors played their first game of the year on Saturday at home against Truagh. Unfortunately Truagh proved to strong for our girls and we were defeated on a score line of 2-10 V 1:05. Team: Sinead Busby, Tori Carolan, Leanne Maguire(1-4), Grace Kieran, Karla Martin, Niamh Rudden, Karla Lambe, Elizeabth Dermody, Aoife Toner, Ciara McDermott, Shauna Tuite(0-1) and Lindsey Mullen.
BEST WISHES
After the senior game our girls recieved the news that the great Niamh Kindlon would not be playing with them this year. Niamh will be a huge loss to this team but we hope she will remain to mentor the younger girls. The club would like to thank Niamh for her tremendous services over the last 20 odd years and congratulate her on her many achievments with both her club and county and wish her every good wish in her retirement.
