Congratulations:    Huge congratulations to Colin Walshe who was named Captain of the Monaghan Senior Team 2017 and what better way to begin his captaincy with a victory against Mayo in Castlebar last weekend.

Also good to see Damian Ward and Jamie Walshe feature on the Monaghan U21 team in the Shamrock Cup.  Barry McGinn continues to make good progress after his injury and should be featuring shortly.

Monthly Meeting:  Our monthly club meeting takes place this Thursday at 8.45pm in the clubrooms.

Coaching Workshops – A workshop  on Kicking for Possession  will take place in Cloghan on Wednesday  22nd February  at 7.30pm. It’s free of charge and all coaches are urged to attend. In order to be part of the coaching team within the club you must complete a  Foundation Certificate. The next one will take place on the 24/25 of February.
