Dinner Dance

The dinner dance will be held this year on the 18th of February in the Creighton Hotel. Tickets will be on sale this weekend. The night will consist of a sit down meal followed by presentations and music by DJ Ollie. Tickets are €25. The victorious McKeown Cup winners and the U-16 team will be presented with their medals as well as the player of the year awards. As always a great night is promised so be sure to attend. You can get your tickets from any member of the executive or from the Creighton Hotel.

Last Man Standing

The last man standing competition kicked off last weekend. Derry were the cause of 18 fallers at the first hurdle. Lets see how round 2 works out for everyone.

Healthy Clubs Project (Free Offer!!)

As part of our Healthy Club initiative we are offering all club members the opportunity to have one circuit training class FREE. Check it out see if it’s for you. They are run by Dutchys Fitness in Clubrooms Monday and Thursday 7 & 8 o’clock.

Development Officer wanted.

The club is currently looking for a development officer. If you or anyone you know wants to become involved please let our Chairman John Holland know. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the running of the club and this is a perfect opportunity to help make positive changes for the benefit of everyone in our club.

Monaghan Teams

It was a great weekend for the Ladies and Mens senior teams who both secured league wins at the weekend. Well done to Paula and the ladies as they can out on top in a cracker in Clones. Next up for them is Galway on the 19th of February. Well done also to Fintan and James and the Monaghan Senior team who had a hard fought and well deserved win over Mayo at the weekend with James making his league debut. They play Cavan this weekend in Castleblaney at 2pm. Best of Luck lads.

Juvenile Registration

The club will be holding a registration for all juvenile girls and boys on Friday evening from 6-7 and Saturday from 12-2pm in the Clubrooms. Registration covers all for the year and includes insurance so please make sure you get signed up.

U-12’s Training

Will be training on Wednesdays from 7-8 in the Peace Link. Also they will be participating in the indoor leagues this coming Saturday from 11am-3pm.

U-14’s Training

Will be starting training on the Astroturf in the Peacelink on Thursday evening from 7pm-8pm.

Congratulations to Senior Player Paul Connolly and his wife Sheena on the birth of their son Michael this week.

Also Congratulations to Eoin Kelly and his wife Lisa on the birth of their daughter Cara last week.
