Deceased Members Mass – The Club will host a Mass for the late Niall Mc Adam and other deceased members on this Friday 27th of January at 8pm in Ballintra. There will also be tea for everyone in the centre afterwards. Please spread the news about this.
National  Club Draw – thanks to all those who have already sold and returned their tickets. To those who haven’t yet can you please return your tickets to your team ticket leader in the next week as all tickets have to be uploaded onto the system.

Féile 2017 -At the end of June 2017 Monaghan ,Cavan and Fermanagh will be hosting the Féile Na nÓg. Hosting is a key part of the ethos of Féile. Host clubs are paired with a visiting team. The players and mentors from the visiting teams stay with members of the host club, and games take place on the host club’s pitch.

Drumhowan will be a host club. We will be looking around 14-15 families in the club to host 2 players in your house on Friday night 23rd and Sat night 24th June 2017. In order to do this adults in the house will have to complete an online vetting form. We will be contacting people in the next week or two to host players so we would ask especially all our Under 12/13/14/15 parents to help us out in this. We thank the good number of families who have come forward already and now we need more to do so. To those who have already committed to being a host family get ahead of the possie and start the vetting procedure   at http://www.gaa.ie/the-gaa/child-welfare-and-protection/vetting  Here it clearly explains what anyone over the age of 16 has to do to get vetted.

Under 10-12-14  –  Training will commence in mid February so in advance of that all players are asked to get out and active over the next few weeks and practice those skills again. Time to put the playstations and ipods away !!

Keep Fit 2017 – Anyone interested in getting fit in 2017 or shedding some excess pounds gained over Christmas there are plenty of events on locally. Each Monday evening in Ballybay Town Park at 7pm the Wetlands Group have walking or running depending on your fitness levels. On Wednesdays in Tullycorbett hall at 8pm circuit training takes place . Then each Saturday morning 9.30am at the bridge in Lough Muckno you can either run or walk a 5km around the island. So no excuse now get up and active in 2017.
Pitch  –  Please note the main pitch remains closed for another few weeks following earth quaking and spiking The  goal mouths have also  been resodded.
Congratulations to Louise Mooney and Martin Mulroe who got married last Saturday 21st January in Ballintra with a reception afterwards in Errigal Country House.
