Lotto: Results for w/e 26th November 2016: Jackpot €6,600. No winner. Numbers Drawn: 5,7,16,21. Lucky dip winners; Jim McCooey, Lorcan Hughes, Grainne McQuaid, Colleen McKenna. Jackpot next week stands at a massive €6,700. The Christmas Slotto draws will take place on Friday 23rd December and Friday 30th December, there are lots of extra prizes and lucky dips up for grabs so be sure to get your tickets in!

Annual Bazaar: The Christmas spirit was alive and kicking in Tyholland Centre last weekend when the Annual Bazaar took place! There were lots of prizes won and the rickety wheel was in overdrive….. Well done to Kevin McQuaid who won the star prize of a Playstation 4. Many thanks to everyone who came along from far and wide to support it. Thanks to our MCs Robbie Gallagher and Paddy McGlynn and a special thanks to the newly formed Bazaar Committee who worked so hard in making it such a successful and enjoyable weekend!

AGM: Our Annual General Meeting was held last Monday night and had a good attendance from club members. The minutes of last years meeting and run down of this past footballing season was read by Secretary Siobhan McKenna, followed by the Treaurers report by Aileen Hughes. The Chairmans address, read by Chair Kevin Kavanagh highlighted a busy year with many successful bids at silverware and a bright future for both our Mens and Ladies teams. Kevin thanked everyone who contributes in any way to making Tyholland GFC the brilliant club that it is including committee members, coaches and mentors, slotto sellers and parents. The new committee is as follows; Chairperson: Kevin Kavanagh, Secretary: Siobhan McKenna, Treasurer: Roisin Treanor, PRO: Barbara Sheridan, Youth Officer: Richard Tiernan, Coaching Officer: Paddy Hughes, Childrens Officer: Selina Mullen, Health & Wellbeing: Siobhan Hamill, Development Officer: Jimmy Askin, Cultural Officer: Orla Donnelly, Insurance Officer: Rita Kavanagh, Co. Board Delegate: Sean McCoy, Ladies Co. Board Delegate: Shauna McMahon. There are a number of other people who have been appointed to the committee.

Mass: Our Annual mass for deceased members will be held in St. Patricks Church, Tyholland on Friday 2nd December at 7.00pm.

U10s: Our U10 training is on Friday this week at 6.30. From next week on it will be Thursdays at 6.30. Wrap up well!

U8s: Tyhollands future stars born in 2009/2010 continue their winter training on Saturdays from 2.30 – 3.30. Be sure to wrap up warm as the training will be outside provided its not too wet!

Christmas Charity Match: Mark your diaries for our Annual Charity match which will take place on Tuesday 27th December at 3 o’clock. The support for this last year was fantastic and we are expecting a great turn out once again. Following the “match” we will get warmed up in the centre with some food and refreshments while being entertained by some of our very own Ceili Band musicians. The medal presentation to our successful team players will also be handed out. This year we will be donating the funds to the two schools in the parish! So will it

be the overs or the young bucks who win the coveted Charity Champion title this year… my money is on the overs!!!!

Christmas Carol Service: Everyone is welcome to a Christmas Carol Service in St. Salvadors Church this Sunday 4th December at 3 o clock. As parking is limited there will be a courtesy bus from Monaghan Mushrooms. Refreshements will be served in Tyholland Community Centre afterwards.
