Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 1st December

Sympathy: Emyvale GAA Club lost two great Gaels last week with the passing of Francie Mc Aree, Stramore & Pat Ward, Rarutra. Francie was a former player & an ardent supporter of Emyvale missing very few games. Pat was also a great supporter & travelled to many matches near & far. It was interesting that symbols of their lives brought forward at their funerals were an Emyvale football at Francies & an Emyvale Jersey at Pats showing how important Emyvale football played in their lives. We extend the sympathies of the club to both families.

Bingo: Bingo as usual tonight in Emyvale Leisure Centre starting at 9pm. Rota: Vincie Mc Anespie.

Juveniles:

Forde Cup (Parish League) was cancelled last Sunday due to the weather and a clash with our AGM.

Next round of fixtures will take place this Sunday 4th December at 3pm.

Juvenile Club Nursery Programme continues this Saturday 3rd December and run until Saturday 10th

December between 9:30am to 10:30am in the Emyvale Leisure Centre. This programme is open to all

children attending Junior Infants to 1st class and parents will be encouraged to take part.

Coaching Courses

There are some upcoming Foundation and Level One Courses which will take place within the county

from now until the end of March 2017, if anyone is interested in enrolling for one of these courses or

getting involved with a team for next year please contact Martin O’Brien 0876721981.

Coaching workshops will be delivered in the county over the next few months with the assistance

from Ulster Council coaching staff. These workshops are indoor & free of charge and workshops are as

follows;

Wed 7th Dec 2016 – Monaghan County Training Grounds Cloghan – Breakball – 7:30-9pm

Wed 1st Feb 2017 – Monaghan County Training Grounds Cloghan – Kicking for scores – 7:30-9pm

Wed 22nd Feb 2017 – Kicking for possession – 7:30-9pm

Wed 15th Mar 2017 – Performance analysis – 7:30-9pm
