Feile 2017

Currin are delighted that we will be participating in the Feile competition which is coming to our county in June 2017. Joining with our neighbours Aghabog we will act as hosts to a visiting club and we are looking forward to this great opportunity especially for the youngsters of the parish. The cooperation of parents will be vital to the success of this event.

Recent bereavements,

Last weekend the members of Currin G.F.C. were privileged to form a ‘Guard of Honour’ at the funeral of Seamus Mc Cabe, Dublin and formerly of Cavany, Scotshouse. Current club members joined with his team comrades of the 1968 championship winning team to pay our final respects. We offer our sincere sympathy to his wife Josephine, sons, Gerard and Brendan, sister Nellie and brother Paddy, and to all his extended family.

Currin GFC would also like to offer our condolences to the Mc Phillips family, Aghabog, on the recent death of John ‘Miles’ Mc Phillips, R.I.P. We would like to offer our sympathy to his close family and in particular to his niece Marie North, club committee member and nephews Ciaran and Aidan Gavan. Go ndeana Dia trochaire ar a ainm dilis.
