Last weekend was a  busy weekend for Toome GFC with the race night on Sat Nov 12th  proving hugely successful and what a great nights craic, the night was kicked off with the showing of the league final warming the night up for everyone, thanks to Raymond and staff of the Old Coach Inn for allowing us to hold the race night there and for been so attentive, then there was the 5k run/walk/jog today in association with Castleblayney Cancer society  on Sun Nov 13th which was another great morning, the weather was in our favour, again thank you to everyone who who attended and helped out getting this event organised, to Pete Mc Mahon and  Super Valu for sponsorship of fruit and biscuits for all our runners and walkers, to all the runners/walkers/joggers for their participation and a very special mention to Garda Ceejay Mc Ardle for kicking off the 5k.
