Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 3rd November

Come Dine With Me: Last Saturday night many of our club members opened their houses to host Come Dine With Me & invited friends & family to join them in a night of eating, drinking, socialising & craic. The reports were very positive so congratulations & thanks to all the hosts for all your work in hosting & supporting our club. Everyone then gathered in The Scarna Inn where the guests mingled & reminisced about days gone by. Many commented that this was a great way of bringing people together that hadn’t met for some time. Some hosts had organised their night a week earlier & more will have theirs this weekend. Great credit must go to Martin O’Brien who was the architect behind this venture & sole organiser. He left no stone unturned in ensuring that the event ran off smoothly so thanks Martin on a job well done.
