Junior League Semi- Final

It was another heart stopping fixture on Sunday last. Clones and the Seans battled it out to reach the Junior League final. While the first half wasn’t the most memorable that either team have played in, the change of pace in the final period made up for it. Scores were traded all day and neither side got into a comfortable lead. As full time approached Clones added a point to leave the sides level and the almost certainty of a draw. However the a long ball from midfield was like a gift from the gods as Mark Keogh rose above his marker, palmed the ball across the square where Patrick Kieran done the needful and slotted home the winner. The referee hadn’t even time for the kick out. Another final beckons for Sunday and our last chance saloon for promotion this year.

Monster Prize Draw

Due to the Junior League being scheduled for Sunday the 30th of October, the Committee has decided to rearrange the draw date. the draw will now take place on Saturday 5th of November in the complex. There will be music on the night and everybody is invited.
