Emyvale GAA Club Notes for Thursday 6th october

Intermediate League: Emyvale’s next game in the Intermediate League is away to Aughnamullen on the 23rd October.

Come Dine With Me: The club is holding “Come Dine With Me” on Saturday 29th October so please keep the date free for what promises to be a great night. This is a much needed fund raiser for the club so all support would be appreciated. If anyone would like to host a table on the night, please contact Martin O’Brien 087 6721981.More details later.

Wheelbarrow Run: A large group of people are currently undergoing a heavy training programme in preparation for the Wheelbarrow Run which will be held around Emy Lake on next Sunday 9th October starting at 2pm. Money raised on the day will go towards the further development & maintenance of the Emy Lake Walkway. This is a very popular walk for people from near & far so all support will be welcome on the day be it with or without a wheelbarrow.

Give Blood: The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be in Emyvale Leisure Centre on next Monday 10th October between 4.30pm & 8pm. Please go along & donate a pint.

Juveniles

Parade of captains: Well done to Luke Kelly & Ryan Murphy who the represented the club and the winning U14 teams at the Parade of Captains during the county final last Sunday.

U-10’s Took part in the U-10 tournament in Monaghan Harps last Saturday. They played very well

winning all of their league matches, but were defeated in the semi-final by Drumhowan the eventual

Shield winners. Well done to everyone who took part and who helped out and thanks to Monaghan

Harps on a fantastic tournament.

Coaching Courses

There are some upcoming Foundation and Level One Courses which will take place within the county

from now until the end of March 2017, if anyone is interested in enrolling for one of these courses or
