Seniors

Unfortunately our season came to a premature end at the hands of Sean McDermotts. In a game where Clones started much the brighter we were left to rue missed opportunities as Seans snatched a last minute goal to progress to the Junior League Final on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-12. This is not what the lads deserved for all the hard work put in over the course of the year but hopefully they can take comfort in the fact that there has been a lot of young players brought through this year which will hopefully pay dividends in future years. The club would like to thank mentors Joe Mallon, James McBennett, Colin McCaughey and Niall Nolan for all the work they put in this year. We are safe in the knowledge that every effort was made to get the lads back up to Intermediate ranks. There is no club without the players and we would sincerely like to thank every member of the Senior panel for the effort they put in this year. We have no doubt that success is not far away for these lads if they continue to work as hard as they have been.

First Aid Training

The club will be hosting a first aid course on the 19th of November 2016. John Bruton from the Irish Red Cross will be delivering this training on behalf of CMETB. We would encourage as many of our members to attend the course as possible. There are up to 12 places available. If you are interested please contact Joanne Rehill on 086 0712690.

Healthy Clubs Project Launch Night

This took place in St Tiernachs primary school on Tuesday night last. It was a great success and we had a great turnout. Well done to all involved in organising the event and many thanks to all those who attended. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information.
