Lotto: Results for w/e 24th September 2016: Jackpot €5,700. No winner. Numbers Drawn: 6,22,23,26. Lucky dip winners; Jeanette Mullen, Lea Beth Murphy, Derek Gillanders, Mark Duffy. Next weeks jackpot is €5,800.

Seniors: A disappointing result last Sunday in our Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League Match against Aughnamullen. With so many players unavailable this was not going to be an easy match. Tyholland were certainly the stronger team in the first half but some heated encounters left Dermie Coyle and an Aughnamullen player black carded. Gary McQuaid receiving a red in the dying minutes of the first 30 left us starting the second half with only 14 men. The half time scoreboard read Tyholland 0-7 Aughnamullen 0-4. An Aughnamullen goal early in the second half changed the tempo and not long after they managed to level the scores. Despite a good goal from Shane Treanor and a further few points from himself, Gooch and Gérard Treanor another Aughnamullen goal and 5 consecutive points left them smiling when the full time whistle was blown. Another red for Pauric Hamill has left us without our regular keeper for our next league match. Final score Tyholland 1-13 Aughnamullen 2-14. Scorers today were; Dermot Coyle 0-2, Shane Treanor 1-5, Darragh Treanor 0-1, Pauric Finnan 0-1, Ryan Gooch McKenna 0-3, Gary McQuaid 0-1, good work too by Brian McArdle, Peadar Farrelly and Niall Askin.

Our next journey is to Cremartin on Sunday at 12.00. (Yes after the Race night so Solpadine at the ready!!!)

Juveniles: Well done to all involved in organising the final blitz of the year last Saturday. Despite the harsh weather conditions our future stars played their hearts out! We welcomed teams from Aghabog, Currin, Rockcorry and Emyvale.

Ladies: Our Senior ladies are through to the Division 3 League semi-final. This game is due to take place this weekend so keep an eye on fb and twitter for updates.

The minor girls are at home to Kilanny this Sunday with a 3pm throw in so come down and show your support.

Good luck to our U12 girls team and mentors Paul Treanor and Richard Tiernan who play Sean McDermots this Saturday at 12.00 in Eire Og. This team is full of talent and it is bound to be a very exciting final so come along and support them!

RACE NIGHT: All roads lead to Tyholland Club Bar this Saturday night when we hold our big Race night. Be sure to come along to back your horse on the night. First race showing at 9am so be there early and don’t miss out on the early winnings!! Refreshments will be provided. See you all there…..Giddie up!!!
