CLUB RESULTS

U14’S

Hard Luck to our U14 team who were narrowly defeated in the div2 shield final in Donaghmoyne on Sunday. This was a game of two halves for the Mitchells. Magheracloone were slow to start but picked up the pace and intensity in the second half out scoring Blayney 1-5 to 0-5, unfortunately it was just short in the end. We would like to wish all our players who are going up to U16 next year good luck. Thank you to Paul Marron for taking all the great photos on the day. Also a big thank you to the coaches Fintan, Declan and Raymond for all their time and hard work all year. U8’S

Magheracloone had three teams in Latton on Saturday for Lattons U8 blitz. All three teams proved very strong on the day with some fantastic displays of football. The future is bright in Magheracloone. Well done to all the children involved. Thank you to the coaches and parents and especially Latton GFC for hosting a very well organised blitz.

U10’S

Well done to our U10 team who also travelled to Latton on Saturday. They played three matches against teams from Latton, Rockcorry and Aghabog. The team put in a great performance and everyone enjoyed their day. We are looking forward to seeing more football from this group of young players in the weeks to come.

U6’S

Well done to our U6’S who travelled to Inniskeen for a challenge match on Saturday. These very talented young players got to show all the skills they have been practicing at training over the past few weeks. Thank you to the coaches Sean, Jimmy and Declan. Team: Ryan Jones, Luke Cosgrove, Moya Ward, Tiernan Reilly, Nicole Smith, Bronagh McEnaney, Jamie Hughes, Riese McCahey, Patrick O’Loan and Ryan Freeman.

The Club Executive wish to highlight to all members, parents and guardians that only those participating in training and matches should be on the field while they are in progress. Everyone else is not covered by insurance and should not be there. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
