U-14’s

Well done to the under 14’s boys who won the Shield final in Drung last Saturday. The lads played great stuff all day in the wind and rain. Thanks to Darragh and James for spending so much time with these lads. Well done to Rigan Graham on winning the Man of the match award in the final. Thanks also to Drung GFC for inviting the lads.

Seniors

Unfortunatly Sunday did not go to plan for our Seniors who lost out to Sean McDermotts in the Junior Football Championship Semi final in Scotstown. Clones went down on a scoreline of 2-18 to 2-12 on a day when nothing seemed to go right for us. The league match scheduled for this weekend against Blackhill has now been cancelled due to the postponement of the other semi final. There is so much talent in this group of players and all is not lost at this stage of the season so hopefully the lads can get back on Track for the league.
