LOTTO RESULTS: Lotto Results for Sunday last. Numbers drawn were 02,06, 08 & 22. There was No winner. Next weeks Jackpot now stands at €1,400. RFL. DIVISION 1B FINAL:
RESERVES: Its being a busy season so far for our club, tomorrow night is Reserve night as their final will take place in Inniskeen on this Friday the 23rd of September at 8pm. Please support the lads. Best wishes to the Team & their management Thomas Hughes & Stephen Hamilton. Bring home another Cup to our Club boys.
MINORS DIVISION 1: Time is ticking around and preparation is on going for the Big day which will be on October 2nd in Castleblayney at 2pm. Training continues as usual.
JUVENILES:
DIVISION 1 LEAGUE FINAL:
U16’s: Hard luck is extended to the U16 team & their Captain Kieran Marron who were beaten in the league final on Saturday last against a very strong Castleblayney team. Our boys knew this was going to be a tough encounter even though Aughnamullen got the 1st score in the 4th min. Our boys where struggling to keep up. Castleblayney were keeping the scores coming given them a 7 point lead in the 1st half. Aughnamullen came back fighting in the second half and brought it back down to 3 points. Just when we thought we where coming to a turning point and their spirits where up. We were soon put down with 2 goals in a row from Blayney. This had knocked us back and was to late for a come back. Unfortunately we had to succumb to a better Castleblayney side on a score line of Aughnamullen (0-12) To Castleblayney (3-10). Team & scores as follows: Aaron Daly, Oisin Hamill, Kieran Duffy, Adam Blanche, Sean Hamill, Keiran Marron (Capt) (0-1), Jay Marron, Tiernan Duffy (0-7), Shane Forde (0-3),Ryan Connolly, Joel Wilson, Jason Duffy (1-0), Aaron Hamilton, Darren Geoghegan (0-1) & Thristan Keenan. Subs Jack Mc Brien, Cillian Mc Connell, Liam Duffy, Gavin Bannigan, Killian Mc Geough, Martin Sheridan, Shay Duffy, James Hannaway, Ryan Johnston & Aaron Mc Gee. Credit also goes to Our Management team, Brian Duffy, Joe Duffy & Gene Duffy for all their hard work. Last but no means least a big thank you to our first aid Philomena Duffy she has worked wonders with her magic spray and of course her kind words. These Boys can hold their heads up high as they have done their club proud, winning the Division 1 Championship final last week. The season is not over for them yet as they now take part in the Ulsters. More details in the coming weeks.
U14’s: LEAGUE FINAL:
All roads will lead to Doohamlet this Saturday the 24th of September at 2pm against Drumhowan. These young boys have another chance in getting a Cup. They have worked hard all year and never lost a league game. Wishing the Team & their managers Dermot, Jake, Frank & Sean the best of luck on Saturday. Please support these young lads.
U12’s Our U12 boys are invited to Cremartin on Sunday next at 2:30pm to play in a Competition with Cremartin, Doohamlet & Donaghmoyne. Best of luck to the team. Please come along and give them your support.
U10’s & U8’s: There is a challenge match on Saturday morning next in Killeven at 10am. Its great to see these young up and coming young lads getting so much experience to play and develop their skills.
U10, U8’s Girls: Our U10 & U8 girls had another great game on Monday evening last against Doohamlet. A great turn out as usual. These young girls are growing from strength to strength. Keep up the good work girls. Thank you to Doohamlet for the game. Training will continue on Saturday morning at 9:30am as usual.
U6’s U4’s: Training will continue this Saturday morning as usual. Starting at 9:30am.
