Monaghan Coaching & Games held a very successful 1st year football Super Touch Blitz on Thursday the 15^th September in Cloghan. Seven Secondary Schools in the county took part in the blitz (Patrician High School, Our Lady’s, St Macartans, Inver College, Beech Hill, Ballybay Community College and Largy College).

For all the players, this was more than likely the 1st time they were representing their schools on the football field and they done so with great commitment and skill.

In total over 200 players took part in the blitz. All the players were divided into 20 teams with each team completing a minimum of four games lasting 15 minutes each.

We would like to thank all the schools for coming to the blitz and all the teachers/ students for helping out in mentoring/ managing the teams on the day. Also we would like to thank all the Transition Year students from St Macartan’s College who came out and refereed the games.
