Tyholland Notes

Lotto: Results for w/e 13th August 2016: Jackpot €5,100. No winner. Numbers Drawn: 4,18,19,23. Lucky dip winners; Teigan & Chloe Mullen, Stella Crudden, Paddy Hughes, Ciara Hamilton. McElvaney Waste Intermediate Championship: Our next Championship match will be held on Sunday 4th September against the winners of Inniskeen v Donaghmoyne.

Monaghan Electrical IFL: Our Seniors were defeated by Inniskeen last Sunday morning scoring 1-09 to Inniskeens 1-11. You can read report in the sports section. We next take on Donaghmoyne in a home game on Wednesday next 24th August with a 7pm throw in.

Minors: Our Minors had a massive win against Rockcorry last Tuesday week scoring a whopping 12-15 to Rocks 3-04. Well done lads! They took on Sean McDermot’s last Tuesday, results next week.

U16s: It’s another big week for our U16 team who are in the Championship Final against St. Tiarnach Sarsfields this Saturday 20th in Threemilehouse with a 2.30 throw in. This is a massive game for the lads so we would love to see good support from the Tyholland supporters!

Gerrys Prepared Veg U14: Our U14s face Rockcorry in their bid for the cup. This match will be held on Saturday 27th August in Rockcorry.

U12: Good luck to our U12s who face Emyvale in the shield semi-final next Monday 22nd at home at 7.30. We hope for good support for the lads and lassies as this has been a very tough Division for them!

Juveniles: Training this evening for U10 6.30 – 7.30. Our U10s will be taking part in a blitz in Clones this Saturday. It’s an early start with the bus leaving the centre at 8.30am! Good luck guys!

Ladies: Our senior ladies are continuing their training for their next league game away to the Seans in 2 weeks. Training continues for U16 / U14 squad as usual too!

U12s: Our U12 ladies play Sean McDermotts Friday at home!

Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Caroline Kavanagh who married Mark Johnson last week!

Race Night: We will be holding a Race night in the club on Saturday 24th September. Race night sheets are available from any committee member or Senior player! Be sure to buy a horse for the night for only €10! Races can also be sponsored for €100. Further details on facebook over the coming weeks!

Sympathy: The club would like to extend our sincere sympathy to the Boyd and Smyth families on the death of Mr Billy Boyd, Silverstream. We also extend sympathy to the Carroll and Rushe families on the death of Patricia Carroll and also to the Gillanders family, Fedoo on the death of Iain Gillanders.
