Application forms are available on our website and on Saturday mornings.

Minors: Our minor footballers fell to a narrow defeat at home to Clontibret in the shield last Tuesday. Luke, Josh, Jake and Eoin O’Hanlon kept the scores coming as the Harps changed ends with a 2-11 to 2-2 lead. Blayney closed the gap somewhat inside the last 20 minutes, but late goals by Luke and Fionán saw the Harps secure a 6-18 to 5-6 win.

Minor: Our minors enjoyed a comprehensive home win over Craobh Rua of Armagh last Sunday in the opening round of the Ulster Minor League. Although we were slow to settle, we eventually found our rhythm with a cool finish to goal by Nathan O’Donoghue in the seventh minute. From here we never looked back and put the Craobh Rua goal under severe pressure with points from Kieran McQuaid and Lochlainn Power being the pick of the half, which finished at 2-7 to 0-4. The second half began brightly with Kieran McQuaid (two) and Nathan O’Donoghue scoring three unanswered goals in the first five minutes to put us firmly in the driving seat. We also saw hugely positive displays from Emmet Walshe, Conor Duffy, Tommy Croarkin and Niall McManus, before a Mark Murphy goal and an Andrew Connolly point finished the scoring to make it 6-13 to 1-8 at the long whistle. We are next away to Lisbellaw (who beat St. Fechin’s on a 3-12 to 2-12 scoreline) on Sunday, August 14.

Team and scorers: Dylan McAree; Emmet Walshe, Conor Duffy, Tommy Croarkin (1-1), Cathal Power (0-2), Luke Mulligan, Kieran McQuaid (2-2); Niall McManus (0-1), Nathan O’Donoghue (2-0), Mark Murphy (Capt., 1-5), Lochlainn Power (0-1), Andrew Connolly (0-1).
