Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 9th August 2016

Lotto Results-There was no winner last weekend. The €20 W were Megan Sullivan,Latton,Seamus Coyle,Mahon,Alice Forde,Latton,Aidhaigh Markey,Creeve,Ryan McGuigan,Boxupper,Carrickmacros.

Numbers drawn on Monday 8TH August were 21,27,1,17,Bonus 23 . No Jackpot winner . The €20 winners were Nancy Mc Connon,Ballybay,Tara Smith,Ballybay,Brenda Rice,Latton,Declan McGeough,Cortard,Latton.

U12’s

The U12’S had a very competitive game last Saturday morning. They played a great game and were very much in the assendence for most of the game. However a strong Toome Side finished very strongly and emerged winners on a score Latton 3-11 – Toome 7-5 .

U14’S

Our division 5 team have a home game on Saturday 13th August at 3.00 v Scotstown.

U16 Football Championship

Latton’s game against Clontibret was conceded by the opposition last Thursday evening.

Senior League

We had a disappointing defeat away to Monaghan Harps last Friday evening on a scoreline of Latton 0-08 – Monaghan Harps 0-11.

FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP-Latton play Scotstown in the Senior Football Championship on Sunday 14th August in St.Marys Park,Castleblayney at 6.30pm,with the loosers playing Magheracloone in Round 2A on Sunday 21st. August..

U15 County 7 A Side Blitz

Congratulations to our U15 Team who emerged as winners of County U15 7 A Side Blitz in Cloghan this morning. The Team comprised of Shane Black,Conor Corrigan(Captain),Michael Coyle,Gavin West,Darragh Dempsey,Shane Slevin,Eoin Duffy,Enda McPhillips & James Slevin. They won all their games on scorelines of Latton 2-02 – Castleblayney 1-03 Latton 3-3 – Carrickmacross 1-03 Latton 4-07 – Scotstown 2-02

Latton 6-06 –Aughnamullen 3-05

Latton 5-06 –Drumhowan 1-04.
