Bereavement: Inis Caoin Grattans would like to extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to former player, Cathaoirleach and current Honorary President and club trustee Terry Lennon and his family Raymond, Dermot and Terrence on the death of his wife and their mother Rita. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhílis.

Results: Monaghan Electrical IFL: We overcame Tyholland by two points last Sunday in Páirc Grattan on a 1.11 to 1.09 score-line.

Fixtures: Minor Football Shield semi-final Inis Caoin Grattans v Patrick Emmets in Aghabog this coming Tuesday 16th August at 6.45pm Silver Hills Food SHL Semi-Final: We take on Carrickmacross HC this evening Thursday 18th August at 7pm in Páirc Grattan in the league semi-final. McElvaney’s Waste & Recycling Intermediate Football Championship. All roads lead to Magheracloone this coming Saturday evening 20th August when we take on the old enemy Donaghmoyne in the Championship at 6pm

Buncrana Cup: Monaghan U16s footballers including Inis Caoin Grattans Andrew Woods, Christopher Hanratty & Padraig McGahon played out a draw after extra time against Derry last Saturday in the Buncrana Cup final on a score-line of 6.11 each. Replay TBC

Lotto: There was no winner of our Pick Four Lotto jackpot of €4,900 last Monday night 8th August 2016. Grattan’s Óige by Mickey Kindlon: U8s & U10s: Training as usual Saturday 11-12. U10s: They play the second round in the internal league competition this Saturday 20th at the end of training. U12s: Training Wednesday evening 7:45-8:45. Can everyone please attend training as we have a semi-final coming up next week. We play against Drumhowan in the semi-final next Monday the 22nd August in Pairc Grattan at 7:00. Please come along and support our young players. U14s: Training as usual Monday and Wednesday evenings. U16s: We play against Truagh this Thursday the 18th August in Truagh at 7:30. Details re bus to Truagh will follow later in the week. There will be a txt sent out about training.
