Seniors:

Last weekend our Senior team had a fixture in the Mc Elvaneys Waste & Recycling Intermediate Football Championships againsy neighbours and local rivals Inniskeen in Magheracloone on Saturday evening. After a tough bruising encounter Donaghmoyne held a 2 point lead deep into added time, however Inniskeen clinched a late goal after they were awarded a fortunous penalty which led to them claiming the narrowest of wins. The lads return to league action this Saturday evening as they take on Aughnamullen at home. Throw in at 6.30 in Donaghmoyne. Come along and support the team!

Reserves:

Our Reserves have finished top of the Platinum Tanks RFL Div 1B which means the qualify for the league final of this division and in the final they well face Aughnamullen. Details of this fixture will be released in a few weeks.

Minors:

On Tuesday evening our Minors took on Carrickmacross in the Division 2 League Final. See Next weeks notes for the result.

U16s:

The lads are due to face Emyvale in the Division 2 Championship Semi Final this Thursday evening at home. Throw in is at 7 o clock in Donaghmoyne on Thursday evening. Come along and show your support for the team as they look to book their place in this years decider.

Mini Fontenoys:

Mini Fontenoys training continues this Saturday between 11-12. The cost is €2 per family, gum shield essential. All new faces are as always more than welcome.

Ladies

Seniors

The Senior County Final which was due to take place this weekend has been postponed due to Monaghan Ladies being in the All Ireland Semi Final. The C team take on Killanny this Thursday evening at 7 o clock.

U16s:

Our U16 team take on Emyvale next Tuesday evening in the Division 1 League Final. Get out and support the girls as they look to take home the title.

U14s:

Well done to our U14s who beat St. Bridgets in the Division 1 Semi Final, they will now face Castleblayney in the final

Congratulations:

Well done to all the Monaghan Ladies on their win over Kerry in the All Ireland Quarter Final last weekend especially to the 5 Donaghmoyne Girls involved. A big congratulations also to Eileen Mc Elroy and her Castleblayney Camogie team on their Senior County Final win last week, Eileen also picked up the Player of the Match Award. Well done to all!
