Monaghan Coaching & Games in conjunction with Ulster GAA are organising an U13 Hurling Farney Academy Camp. This camp will run in a similar fashion to the one which took place last year. The camp is open to 10-13 year olds and will take place in Cloghan over 4 days. The 4 dates are as follows.

 

 

Wednesday 27th July – 3.30pm – 5pm
Tuesday 16th August – 10am – 2pm

Wednesday 17th August – 10am-2pm
Thursday 18th August 10am – 2pm

U13 farney hurling academy letter 2016

 

During the 4 day hurling camp,Players will receive a great programme of coaching which is aimed to develop all hurling skills. The programme includes Wall ball sessions, free-taking, goalkeeping, attacking & defensive play, flexibility, body-strength exercises and player welfare talks.

 

 

We recommend that players brings football boots, runners, shorts, socks, training top, bottle of water, packed lunch, Helmet and Hurley. If players have no helmet or hurley one will be provided.

 

The cost for the Farney hurling academy is 15 euros per player. Each player will be rewarded with a hurling grip and a t-shirt which will be presented by a top-inter county hurler .

 

 

Players must bring money along with them next Wedneday the 27th July. PLayers can pay either by cash or cheques (made payable to ‘Monaghan GAA’.
