Lotto results: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot prize of €3000.  The numbers drawn were 7, 12, 19 and 21.  There were 5 Match 3 winners – Priosais McKenna, Corryarabeg, Barry McAnenly, Gerry McKenna, Dernalusset, John Mullen, Killacorn, and Michael Regan, Galway.  Sellers Prizes: Weekly – Donal Treanor and Niall Treanor, Yearly – Josie Brady.  Next week’s Jackpot Prize is €3100.  The Lotto draw will take place at 10.30pm sharp every Sunday Night, any lottos received after the draw takes place will be deferred until the following week’s draw.

Reserve ‘Cs’:  Our ‘Cs’ rounded off their league campaign with defeat to a fine Killanny team last Sunday.  Thanks to the players and Mickey McGeough (Manager) for their efforts all year.

Big Breakfast:  A big thanks to everyone who contributed to making our Annual Big Breakfast such a great success last Sunday.

Juveniles
U6  Training continues tonight as usual
U8  No training tonight, training resumes next Thursday night at the usual time. Enjoy Cul Camp everyone!
U10. Training as usual tonight from 7-8, and Saturday morning 10-11. Well done to all who competed in the John Treanor Memorial tournament on Saturday last.
U12.  Training continues as per texts from management. Both teams in action at home this Saturday, 23 July to Clones and Carrick Emmets
U14. Played away to Magheracloone last Saturday, unfortunately were defeated. Training as per texts
U16’s are at home tonight to Carrick Emmetts, best of luck!

John Treanor Memorial Tournament
The annual John Treanor memorial blitz took place in Truagh last Saturday, 16 July in glorious sunshine. St Mellans welcomed 27 teams on the day from far and wide. Congratulations to Derrynoose who won the cup, and to Monaghan Harps, winners of the Shield. Well done to the Truagh team who reached the semi final on the day. Thanks to all who helped to make the tournament a huge success – to the juvenile committee, the people who helped with catering, to Frank Daly who worked hard preparing the field and to all who helped with the organisation and running of the matches on the day. Well done everyone.

Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45 to 7.45
well done to the girls who had a strong win over tyholland.
u14/u16
Training Tuesday’s and Thursday time as arranged with management. a big well done to the u14s who reached the cup final of the Gloria corrigan but were narrowly beaten at full time. congratulations to Mia O’Reilly who picked up player of the tournament.
Senior:
Training continues as arranged with management. well done to the senior B team who had a brilliant win over tyholland on Saturday evening, a great start to the league. well done to the A’s who also had a promising win over aughnamullan on Sunday  past.
