Ned Run

It’s that time of year again… the annual Ned Run which will take place on Friday 5th August. We are now in our 6th year of hosting this excellent event. This is a 5 mile course through the scenic Scotstown Village and beyond. The run starts at the Páirc Mhuire Scotstown GAA grounds, heads back into Scotstown village, left on Main Street, right past Hollywood Park, right again at Hamilton’s Cross, on to McPhillips’ Cross, right on to the Bog Road and straight through the village back to Páirc Mhuire. Registration (€10) will take place on Thursday 4th August from 7pm-9pm and on Friday 5th from 5pm in the Complex or you can simply fill out a registration form and return to a committee member. The Ned Boylan Cup and Sean Hegarty Shield will be up for grabs also with the Finals taking place at 7pm. The evening will end with a barbeque and music in the bar by Mountain Dew. This is an evening not to be missed and has something for everyone.
