CLUB NOTES
LOTTO
There was no winner in this weeks Lotto. The numbers drawn were: 4, 19, 22 and 27. The lucky dip winners were Fiona Kindlon, Maurice Kiernan, Margaret Hanrahy and Matthew Boylan. Next weeks jackpot €2,400  Congratulations to all the Lucky Dip winners. Thank you for your continued support.
JUVENILE TRAINING
U6 and U8 …. There will be NO U6 and U8 training for the next two weeks (Sat 23rd or Sat 30th).

CLUB RESULTS
U21’S
A massive well done to our U21’S who gave exhibition in football as they took on Monaghan Harps on Sunday in the Semi Final of the Championship. This will be the second year in a row Magheracloone have reached the div1 final and will now face the winners of Donaghmoyne and Carrickmacross. Magheracloone started strong and stormed ahead with an early goal from Paudie Kirk and with some excellent points from Allan Kieran and Alan McCahey scoring 11 points between them in the first half. Half time score Magheracloone 1-11 Harps 0-5. The Harps did come back into it with two early goals at the start of the second half but it was short lived as the Mitchells upped the tempo with great goals from Paudie McMahon, Barry Kieran and Sean Marron. This was a great all round team performance by the Mitchells. Final score Magheracloone 4-22 Monaghan Harps 2-7. Team: Jack Kirk, Cian Freeman, Paul McArdle, Ronan Burns, Peter Finnegan, James Lambe, Connell Rooney, Niall Marron, Allan Kieran (0-5), Daniel Babington, Paudie Kirk(1-1), Paudie McMahon(1-2), Damien Rudden, Sean Marron(1-1) and Alan McCahey(0-11). MINOR
After a long break the minors returned to the playing field in the division 1 cup on Tuesday evening as they faced Truagh at home. Magheracloone are in the cup end of the league along with Truagh, Corduff and Annaghmullen. Well done to the lads who battled hard and gained the two points they deserved.  Full time score Magheracloone 2-16 Truagh 2-11. Team: Jack kirk, Daniel Babington, Ronan Burns, Jack Doogan, Connell Rooney, Conor McKeown, Jonathon Donnelly, Niall Marron, Barry Kieran(0-1), Paudie McMahon(0-7), Damien Rudden, Ryan McNulty(0-1), Aidan Carolan, Mogie(2-2) and Ronan Mc Keown(0-4). U16’S
Like the Minors this was the first game after a long break for the Junior Cert for our U16’S. It was definitely a game of two halves for the Mitchells. Magheracloone were slow to start but found their scoring feet in the second half with scores from six different players.They now face Castleblayney in the Semi Final. Final Score: Magheracloone 3-14 Monaghan Harps 3-10. Team: Eoghan Rooney, Daniel McConnon, Jack Doogan, Matthew Kieran, Shane Burns, Conor McKeown(0-2), Ryan Farrelly(0-1), Mogie(1-3), Jonathon Donnelly(0-1), Cieran McMahon, Ryan McNulty(0-3), Gary Marron, David Martin, Ronan McKeown(1-2) and Dylan McCahey(1-2). U14’S
Well done to the U14’S who beat Truagh in the first round of the div 2 shield on a scoreline of Magheracloone 8-15 to Truagh 3-7.
U12’S
Well done also to our U12’S who also beat Truagh this week on a scoreline of Magheracloone 3-7 Truagh 2-8.
U8’S
Our U8’S took part in our home blitz on Wednesday evening. Well done to all the children who played and who got to show their parents and coaches all the skills they have learned over the past few weeks at training. Thank you to Corduff and Killanny for participating in our blitz. A big thank you to all the coaches, referee’s, carpark attendants thoes who server tea and coffee and to the parents for providing the refreshments. The juvenile committee would like to thank the executive committee for their support with the event.
CÚL CAMP
That time of year again. Magheracloones Cúl Camp will be on from Monday 26th to friday 30th of July. If you haven’t already registered you can still do so online just log onto the Kelloggs Cúl Camp website and register your details.

MOVING ON SPORTS PROGRAMME
Moving On Sports Programme is a free sport and recreation career programme in the Iontas Centre, Castleblayney. The course allows those  on social welfare payments gain QQI (FETAC) accreditation including GAA and a welth of coaching qualifications. The course starts on the 22nd of August.
