Seniors
Well done to the team that travelled to BallyShannon on Saturday last and secured another victory in the Ulster Tain League.  This was a brilliant result taking all the circumstances into account Blayney 1-14 to BallyShannon 2-10.  The lads started against a stiff wind high up on the rock in BallyShannon. We were 0-4 to no score before the opposition scored.  They came back to a draw at 6 points each.  Niall Garland sticking 0-3 of the first 6 and Nathan Adair 0-1 and Niall Flanagan scoring a brilliant 0-1 against the wind.  Tony Forde then tapped over a beauty.  Niall Garland finished out the first half with 6 points and Pauric Malone broke through with an individual point athe best of the first half.  The game finished Blayney 0-10 to Bally Shannon 0-7 at half time.  Blayney came out of the blocks first with a brilliant point from Tony Forde.  The oppossition were starting to get into the game but Niall Garland kept us in there with another two points.  A high ball went into the Donegal square and Fintan Finnegan was on hand to tap into the back of the net.  We were now ahead by 0-6 points and they piled on the preassure and scored two goals but the Blayney Lads stood strong and held out across the line by a single  point.  Aaron Kenny and Peter Treanor worked very hard at midfield and both had their best games of the year so far.  Paddy Collins took off a few brilliant saves with the help of full backs Jack Deasy, Wayne Funcheon, Eoin Leonard and Kevin McCooey, whom all played out of their sknis and Stephen Forde who had a super game at left half back.  Conor McNally, Daniel McGuigan also impressed.  A well deserved victory!  Well done Lads.
Shield Semi Final against Truagh is on tonight Thursday the 28th in Truagh at 7.30pm. Best of Luck Lads !
