JUVENILE
No U6, U8, U10 hurling this Saturday evening as all  are away to feile, will be back at it the following Saturday, also “hurl with me” for adults / guardians is same time and venue as juvenile hurling, new players for all age groups are welcome any time, Next county blitz is Wednesday 22nd in Cloghan from 7 to 9,
U10
Our U10 had the second round of Local Tournament at home last Wednesday 8th with East Cavan Gaels, Castleblayney, Cootehill and Colmcilles [Kells], great hurling by all these youngest and weather was lovely, next round is  Wednesday 15th in Cootehill, well done to all and enjoy
U12
The lads travel to Truagh last Monday for the first game in the silverhills food league and brought  back a win, well done to all, next game is Monday 20th home to Inniskeen,
U14
We play Castleblayney in the Silverhill foods league final, no date or venue fix yet, the lads are getting ready for feile 2016 which is this weekend 17th to 19th June, good luck and enjoy everyone
SENIORS
our seniors play Truagh at home last Thursday in the silverhill foods senior league, the lads known this was a tough game and got stuck in right from the start, Truagh open the score but when the lads got going they held the lead right through the game, if finish 3-11 to 1-09 well done lads, the team and club wants to wish Manager Brian [Whelo] Whelan a speedy recovery who was in hospital for a few days but back home relaxing now,

PRESENTATION NIGHT
The club held its presentation evening last Friday in the Shirley arms where a great crowd turn out, To start of there was a magician to keep the wee ones happy as adults mix and chat to each other while they were trying to pick their kids out of a slide show that was on, next up was finger food which all enjoy, then M C for the night chairperson Sean Guinan called on all managers to get their lads together, first up was the U11 all Ireland Community games bronze medal winners, then U12 Shield winners, follow by U14 Championship and league winners, and to finish off was the U16 Championship winners, all received their medals and plenty of photo were taken, in the back ground D J Jayo was playing his tunes, players of the year awards went to Luke McKenna  young player and Jason Hughes got the senior player, well done to both, there was also a draw on the night winners were Orlaigh Payne, Ethan O Gorman and Patrick Bermingham, over all a great night was had by everyone,
FEILE 2016
Final bits are been put together for our U14 who are heading to Monaygall this Friday 17th for the weekend, they have 2 games Friday and game Saturday morning, then the group playoff, this will be a great weekend for players and club as our lads are representing Monaghan and will play and see hurling from different clubs from all around Ireland, We all want to wish them the best of luck and enjoy the weekend, remember keep hurling, check Carrickmacross hurling facebook face for all up to dates
