Our U12 will have there first game on Monday 13th June away to Truagh, will need all lads out at training,

We were due to play Cootehill last Friday 27th at home in the Silverhill foods league but they did not turn up,  Then our U14 travel to Monaghan last Monday evening  for the last game in the league and took home a win, this now puts the lads into the league final, this was a game that had it all, fine hurling, nice scores and even two penalty one on each side, the lads play well, took some nice score and worked as a team, well done to all players and management team

Our Seniors played Castleblayney last Thursday away in the Silverhill foods Senior league, this was a tough hitting game right through with some good play from the lads, it finish 0-8 to 1-12 hard luck lads but good hard game,

Our seniors were out again on Sunday when they played Naomh Moninne  in the Tain league on Donaghmoyne rd pitch, staying with them in the first half with only 1 point down at half time, 2 quick goals for the away team right from the restart would knock any team, the lads keep at it but just could not get back into it, it finish 2-06 to 3-15, hard luck lads and management team,

As we start to gathered in Nallos on last Friday evening for the table quiz in support of our U14 Féile team, you could hear laughs and wee stories of old, when Raymond (Joe) o Hara M C for the night landed, you hear he has the question and answer, well Joe how much, but Joe smile and keep answers close by and took his place at the mix, by this time Stephen mc Kenna, Sean Guinan and nallo was gathering up more tables and stools, next came Joe voice 5 mins and counting plus no mobile phone as all a bit of fun, with Fidelma mc Kenna on paper work the sheets were given out and the show was on, voices were low and a few wee lights could be seen but our M C had to remind, folks no mobile put yours heads together,, as questions went on you could hear whisper and laughs as teams work together, yes folks you can enjoy a evening without your mobile, during the evening there was 4 sets of raffles with plenty of prizes on offer, scores was close right up to the last round which is called the millionaire round, Joe explained the rules and questions were out again, all in all it was a great nights crack, the committee would like to thank everyone that came and played, Joe O Hara, Nallo, helper’s, and everyone that sponsored a prize or table, if we left anyone out we are sorry, without any of yous this could not go on, thanks again and remember keep hurling,
