Lá na gClubanna is returning this year on Sunday 8th May and our club will be having a celebration day showcasing all that is positive about our club. This event will start at 2.30pm and run through the evening until after 5pm. On the day we will be kicking off with a family fun day on the pitch with events for all the family. Members of our senior team will be coaching groups from our underage academy. Inside the complex we will have a Scor exhibition showcasing the history of Scor within the club, Handball coaching sessions and an exhibition game, music from our scor groups. We will also have a BBQ starting at 4pm and medal presentation at 4.30pm for all our winning teams from 2014 and 2015.The event will close with a scor concert at 5pm. Please check our website and social media for full details and running order of the day. This is an event for everyone in our community and we urge everyone to come along.

Greenfield Foods SFC

Scotstown begin the defence of their senior championship in the preliminary round against Doohamlet on Sunday May 15th in Castleblayney at 1.30pm.

Co.Monaghan Credit Unions SFL

The senior’s grinded out a 1-11 to 1-9 win over Castleblayney on Tuesday last. They are at home to Carrickmacross on Wednesday 4th at 7.30pm and away to Monaghan Harps on Saturday 7th at 7pm.

Eurotech JFL

The juniors play Drumhowan on Sunday 8th 1.15pm in Pairc Mhuire.

Reserve O’Duffy Cup

The reserves bowed out to a better Donaghmoyne team on Saturday evening in the O’Duffy Cup 4-17 to 2-9. We would like to wish a speedy recovery to the Donaghmoyne player who received a serious injury in the game.

MFL Division 1

The minor’s lost to Truagh on Tuesday 2-14 to 0-10. They are at home to Clontibret tonight, Tuesday May 3rd at 7.30pm. Next Tuesday they are away to Corduff.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Division 1

The U16’s are at home to Aughnamullen on Thursday 5th May at 7.45pm.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Division 3

Their next game is at home to Clan naGael on Thursday 5th May at 6.30pm.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Division 2

The U14 senior team play Truagh away on Saturday May 9th at 12pm.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U14 Division 5

The development team play Monaghan Harps at 3pm on Saturday 9th at home.

Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 Spring League Finals

Well done to our 3 U12 teams who took part in the spring league finals. They will now have a break in games before the summer league starts in a few weeks.

Keallogs Cul Camps

This year’s summer camp will take place 25th-29th July in Kilmore. The price for attending the camps will be remaining the same as the last number of years with the first child costing €55, the second child €45 and every child after that €40. To register for the camps you can either do so online or fill in the application form and send it back to the Monaghan GAA Coaching Office with the appropriate fee. Online registration is now open. All you have to do is go to kelloggsculcamp.gaa.ie, find the camp you want to register your child on, fill in the required information and that should be you! Alternatively, you can download the application form from www.monaghangaa.ie, fill it in and return it to the Monaghan GAA Coaching Offices. You can find the address on the application form .To guarantee your child receiving their kit and backpack during the camp, registration before the 31st of May is essential. In this instance, anyone who registers after this date, we cannot guarantee they will receive their hoodie during the camp but they will receive it at some stage after the camp.
