Our U12 team were unlucky to go down by a single point against Ballybay away on Saturday 14th May on a scoreline of Latton 0-08 – Ballybay 1-06.Our next game is Wednesday 25th May away v Oram at 7.30.

U14

The Division 1 Team have an away fixture on Saturday 21st May at 12.00

Our Division 5 team play at home v Emyvale at 3.00pm.

U16

We played on Thursday 12th May at home v Emyvale.A brilliant performace once agin with some brillinat score taking we emerged victors on scoreline of Latton 4-21 – Emyvale 0-04.

Senior League

Our Seniors played in the Preliminary Round of Championship last Sunday in Castleblayney against Carrickmacross. Latton were on form from the kick off with the team lining out with Sean Framer,Shane coyle,Eddie lennon,Owen Coyle,Stephen Fitzpatrick,Kieran Duffy,Conor Lynch,Paudie Hamilton,Aiden Framer,Stephen mcElroy,Owen Duffy ,Stephen mc Cabe,Christopher Rice,Hugh mcElroy,Darren Mc Elroy.

Latton played some fast football in the first half and some good scoring seen them lead 0-10 -0-04 at half time . The 2ND half seen them pull away from Carrickmacross with fast movement of the ball from defense to attack. The Score takers were Owen Duffy 1-01,Hugh Mc Elroy 1-02,Shane Coyle 0-03,Eddie Lennon 0-01,Stephen mc Cabe0-02,Bernard O’Brien 0-01,Dermot O’Brien 0-01,Kieran Duffy 1-01,Christopher Rice 0-01,Darren Mc Elroy 0-01. Subs used on day were Kevin Farrelly,Bernard O’Brien,Mark Duffy,Damien Duffy & Barry Mc Cabe. We now face Scotstown on Sunday 14TH August.

We play in the RFC O’Duffy Cup Quarter Final v Magheraclonne in magheracloone at 7pm on Saturday 21st May.There is also a home Reserve League Fixture v Gaeil Triucha on Wednesday 25th May.

Sympathies

We extend our Sympathies to the family of Kitty Longland ( nee Sullivan) Northampton and late of Anveyerg. We also extend our sympathies to the family of Fr Sean Clerkin,Tydavnet who was parish priest in Latton from 1985-1990.He was a great supporter of our Club while in the parish.
