We ran out comfortable winners in this preliminary round of the reserve championship played in Pairc Eanna on Saturday evening last. a goal by Conor Russel and points from Gareth Yore(2) Michael Vernon(1), Mark Grimes(1) and Gavin Traynor(2) left us leading by 1g 6p to 1g 4p at the interval. At the restart it was Cill Eanna that took control and 2 goals from Gareth Yore( penalty) and Michael Vernon and points from Gavin Traynor (2) Conor Russel (2) and Sean McDonald left us with an easy run in . We welcomed back Peter Marron between the posts after a long few years.

Get well

We wish Cillian Leegan a speedy recovery after a recent injury received while playing.

Support

We encourage your support for all our home games. The spirit among the team is quite good and so far this season are giving excellent value for the admission. The players would certainly appreciate that extra bit of support. The revamped car park is much more customer friendly.

Membership

Club membership is now overdue. For insurance purposes membership must be paid up to date, it also qualifies members to take part in the all draws for match tickets. The membership has remained the same for the past number of years. We ask for your kind cooperation.

Sympathy

Our condolences are extended to Connolly family on the death of Dermot. The Connolly family had a long association with the Geraldines both as officials and players. Dermots late parents Paddy and Nora were teachers in Ballymackney school for many years.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Francis Ward (late of Coolremoney) whos remains were interred in St. Endas at the weekend.
