Emyvale Notes

May 20th, 2016

Intermediate League:

Our senior team travelled to Donaghmoyne on Sunday past for their latest encounter in the Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football League. This was an entertaining encounter with Donaghmoyne having an early advantage when they registered a goal early on. Emyvale settled into the game and despite missing a number of regular players battled hard and the goal was the difference at half time. Scores were traded by both sides throughout the second half but Donaghmoyne’s experience and physicality saw them run out eventual winners on a final score line of Emyvale 0 – 14 Donaghmoyne 1 – 14.

Next Intermediate league game is on Sunday 29th May at home to Currin. Our senior reserve team play Ballybay in Ballybay on Wednesday 25th May.
