Seniors.

We had no game last week and have a ‘Star game’ this weekend in Emyvale at 2.00pm.

Youth Affairs

The Under 16’s had a good win over Tyhollannd on Thursday evening, (5 15 to 4 11). Their next outing is a trip to near neighbours St Tiarnachs Sarsfields in Killeevan this evening (Thursday) with a throw in time of 7:30pm. Patrick Emmett’s are tied in top position in the table after four wins from five games. Please come out to support.

Patrick Emmett’s under 14’s continued with a trip to Cremartin on Saturday last but were well beaten on the day. We lost the toss and had to play against a very strong breeze which made things very difficult and left us with too big a gap to come back from in the second half. Our next game is Championship at Clones on Tuesday 31 May with a throw in at 7:30. All support appreciated.

The Under 12’s, with the under 10’s, played Scotstown reserves on Tuesday 24th May. The next game follows quickly with a trip to Clontibret on Saturday 28 May with a throw in time of 1:15. Travel details will follow by text

Under 6 Under 8 and Under 10 training continues this Saturday morning at 9:30pm. Registration forms will be available for first registration and costs €5 for the year including insurance. Please pass the word.

Coaching

We really do need additional coaches to take on the role of inducting and training the young players, particularly from Under 6 to Under 10 level. Parents and others are not only encouraged to participate (and training will be provided) but needed.

County Matters

Congratulations to Megan Agnew, who was part of the successful Monaghan, Ulster U-14 championship winning team. Well done.
