U-8 & U-10s took part in the first blitz of the year to be organised by Monaghan coaching staff n Cloghan last Wednesday night. Blayney had 2 U-8 & 2 U-10 teams who each got at least three games against teams from Carrickmacross,Clontibret and Mullaghbawn. Parents take note next blitz n Cloghan on Friday May 13. Seniors
The reserve team have a home match in Concra tonight Thursday 5th May at 7.30pm v Cmx.
We are away to Truagh with our senior team 12th May.
County Lads
Best of luck to all the Blayney lads on the County Hurling Team this Saturday vs Donegal in the Nicky Racard Cup. Check fixture venue and time to go along and support the lads.
Minors
The lads played very well against a strong Cootehill side 3-10 to 2-1.  Well done lads keep up the great work.
These lads are looking forward to getting a full squad together for the Championship.

GPA PLAYERS GRANT.  Seven senior players from the Castleblayney hurling club who are members of the Monaghan county hurling panel received grants from the GAA GPA players association towards their third level education. This is the third year for some of these players to receive this grant
