SENIORS
Magheracloone took on Latton on Saturday evening and were unlucky in the end not to come away with two points. It was a tough game and could have gone either way. Final score Magheracloone 1-15 Latton 2-12. JUNIORS
This was definitely a game of two halves for the reserves on Wednesday evening as they played Monaghan Harps. Magheracloone struggled to field a team but in true Mitchell spirt they stepped up to the plate. After a slow start in the first half (Magheracloone 0-4 Harps 1-7) Magheracloone found their scoring feet in the second. The Mitchells managed to get it back to one point and scored an impressive 2-8 in the second half but unfortunately the Harps scored three unanswered points to finish the game. Final score Magheracloone 2-12 – Harps 2-15. Well done lads! Thank you to the lads that travelled from Dublin and Athlone to play. U16’S
Our U16’S travelled to Drumhowan to take on St Pats in search of two more points in their league campagne. Magheracloone started off very strong with some excellent scores from seven different players. The Mitchells went in at half time 5-08 to 1-07 up. The lads kept the pace up in the second half and finished the game on a score line of 7-11 to 3-11.
