Lotto Results-The Lotto Numbers Drawn on 24th April 2016 were as follows 3-23-22-2 Bonus 17 . There was no Jackpot winner. Our €20 Winners were Christopher Marron,Corduff,Dara Mc Kenna,C/O Christopher Marron,Kieran Mullen,Cootehill,Frank Farmer,Latton,Clare O’Reilly,Tullycoe,Cootehill.

Minor League

The minors played away on Tuesday 19th April against Tyholland . A strong performance seen them gain victory on scoreline of Latton 3-16 to Tyholland 1-10. We also played an home fixture v Cremartin on Tuesday 26 th – see press for result.Our next fixture is home v Sean mc Dermotts on Tuesday 3rd May .

U14

Our Division 1 team playeded in the Final of the Championship v Donaghmoyne last Saturday in Blackhill. Things didn’t go for them on the day and they were beaten by a very strong Donaghmoyne side. Well done to all on reaching the final and best wishes to Donaghmoyne in the Feile competitions representing Monaghan.We play away in Division 1 tonight v Emyvale at 7.30pm.

U16

We played at home last Thursday 21st April. After some good score taking they emerged victors on score of Latton 7-20 to Killanny 2-03.

U12

We Played away against Ballybay on Monday 2nd May at 11.00am.

Reserve league

We played away on Wednesday 20th April v Clontibret. After a great comback of 3 goals they gained a draw on scoreline of Latton 5-08 to clontibret 3-14.

Senior League

Laton played Magheracloone in the 5th round of the Senior football league on Saturday 23rd April. The line out was Sean Farmer ,Eddie Lennon,Conor Lynch,Stephen Fitzpatrick,Aiden Farmer,Kieran Duffy,Daire Quinn,Owen Duffy,Stephen mc Elroy,Pausi Hamilton,Owen Coyle,Christopher Rice,Hugie mc Elrot ,Darren Mc Elroy & Shane Coyle. Magheracloone got off to the better start with a quick Point . On the 6 th minute a well worked move resulted in Conor Lynch finding the net for a good goal. Points followed from Aiden Farmer and Kieran Duffy . On the 16 th minute latton wer awarded their 2nd Penalty and Owen Duffy found the nEt to leave the score 2-02 to 0-04. Magheracloone scored 2 points to close the gap to 2-02 to 0-06. On the 24th Minute Aiden Farmer scored to leave 3 between the teams. A further point from Oeen Duffy left the score 2-04 to 0-06. Latton were dealth a blow in the 28

Minute with a straigh Red Card for Kieran Duffy. A further point from Hughie Mc Elroy left the half time score 2-05 to 0-07. Half time seen Stephen mc Cabe taking the field in place of Conor Lynch. On the 35 minute Magheracloone were awarded a penalty which they duly scored the score now standing at 1-07 to 2-05. An Owen Duffy point left 2 between the sides again.Darren mc Elroy Slotted over a point to laeve agoal between the sides. Magheracloon settled and scored 2 points in sucession to once again leave the bare minimum beteween the sides. Stephen mc Elroy scored in the 47th Minute to leave the score 2-10 to 1-10. A Latton Substitution with Barry Mc Cabe replacing Daire Quinn.Magheracloone had a very good spell with 3 quick points levelling the game on the 54th Minute 2-11 to 1-13.Latton edged ahead with a Hughie Mc Elroy point however once again Magheracloone came back this time with another 2 points to take the lead 1-15 to 2-11 on the 59th Minute. Latton’s last attach seen them awarded a Free which they duly executed to earn a Point from the game. A hard , challenging performance where all players dug deep into their reseves.

We play at away v Castleblayney on Wednesday 4th May at 7.30pm.
