Emylott: It’s that time of year again when the Annual Emylott tickets are due for renewal. It takes an enormous amount of money to run a club every year & without the support of our members, it would not be possible to run it effectively without incurring huge debt. Letters have been circulated & sellers will call to collect subscriptions. This can be paid by 1×100; 2×50; 4×25 or a Direct Debit can be set up so please show your support by buying a ticket.
Intermediate League: Emyvale travelled to Cremartin on Saturday evening & got off to a great start scoring 2:7 to 0:4 in the first half. There was a very strong breeze which Emyvale had the advantage of in the first half & during the second, Cremartin took full advantage of it & started clawing their way back into the game & brought it back to a point. The Emyvale lads held on to win by two points helped enormously by goalie Paudie Hayes who brought off a few point blank saves.
Reserve League: Cremartin were on the opponents once again on Wednesday evening last & Emyvale came out on top on a score line of 2:12 – 1:12. It was a high scoring match with both sides playing good football with little separating the sides. Next Sunday the reserve team play Monaghan Harps in Monaghan at 2pm in the O’Duffy Cup.
