Scor: Well done to Emyvale Set Dancing Team who put on a great performance in the All Ireland Scor Sinsir Final in Killarney on Saturday evening last but narrowly missed out on another All Ireland Title. Congratulations to Gaeil Triucha who won the Scor Sinsir Leiriu Competition, a great achievement.
Congratulations: Congratulations to Ryan Mc Anespie & the Monaghan Senior Team who defeated Donegal on Sunday & retained their Division One status & also to Ryan & the Monaghan U21 Team who qualified for the final of the Ulster U21 Championship Final.
Sympathy: The sympathy of the club is extended to the family of Pat Corrigan, Kilnageer, Emyvale who died on Monday last. Pat played with the Emyvale Club during the late 50’s early 60’s & was a member of the team that won the Junior Championship in 1959. He played Senior Football with Emyvale in 1960. He partnered Big Packie Treanor at midfield & they were a formidable pair, two big men. Ar deis De go raibh a anam.

Reserve League: Emyvale registered their first win in the Reserve League with a good win over Castleblayney on Saturday evening last. The visitors got off to the better start going into an early lead but Emyvale then took control of the game & with a high work rate & superb tackling, they ran out deserving winners. U-12 Spring League second round of matches were played last weekend and we were at home against Scotstown in both games. In a very close game the U12A team lost by one point on a score line of 0-15 to 0-16. U12B team lost 0-09 to 0-16 with our boys playing very well despite the final score line. Next matches will take place on Saturday 16th April at home against Killanny. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7-8pm in Tully.
U-14 Division 1 Championship match against Donaghmoyne is scheduled for this Saturday but will now take place Saturday 16th April @ 1pm away in Donaghmoyne. If there is any change, management will be in touch. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7- 8pm in Tully.
U-14 Division 5 got their campaign off to a good start with a win at home against Scotstown. Their next match is this Saturday 9th April away to Castleblayney with a throw in time of 4.45pm. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7-8pm in Tully.
U-16’s played their first match of the year last Thursday away to Sean McDermotts, it was a close game throughout with our boys pulling away in that final stages to win on a score line of 6-14 to 1-16.
Second match will take place this evening Thursday 7th April 2016 at home against Cremartin with a throw in time of 6.30pm. Training will be held on Monday and Wednesday evening between 8-9pm in Tully.
Presentation: The presentation of medals to our U-16 Championship winning team from 2015 will take place at halftime during the Senior match this Saturday evening 9th April against Rockcorry.
