All Ireland Scór Sinsir Tráth na gCeist – Well done to our Quiz Team of Anthony Brennan, Aidan Doherty, Patrick Duffy and Noel Duffy  who represented the Club and County in Killarney last weekend. A lot of tough questions asked and at the end the lads answered half of them correctly. Hard to luck to Emyvale Set Dancers who competed also but bring congratulations to Truagh’s Léiriú group who secured the All Ireland title.
 
Platinum Tanks RFL Division 2   – Seán Mc Dermotts were the visitors to Páirc Mhic Eoin last Saturday evening the 2nd of April. Seáns led from the start scoring two goals in the first half to leave the half time score Drumhowan 0-5 Sean Mc Dermotts 2-3 with Drumhowan’s scores coming from Mark Mc Cabe 0-3, Michael Atkinson 0-1 and John Paul O’ Neill 0-1. Things didn’t get any better in the 2nd period with Seáns scoring  a further 1-7 to Drumhowan’s  1-2  with Micharel Atkinson getting the goal and Mark Mc Cabe scoring the points leaving the full time scoreline Drumhowan 1-7 Seán Mc Dermott’s 3-10

Next game for this team is not till the 4th of May when the short journey will be made to Blackhill.
 
Eurotech JFL – with the Senior County team not out till the beginning of June the senior team will now be playing on a regular basis for the next two months. First up is a home game to Corduff in Drumhowan this Sunday 10th April at 2pm while there will be a visit to Seán Mc Dermotts on Sunday 17th of April at2.30pm
 
Minor Football League Division 1  – had their first game of the year last Tuesday the 5th of April  against near neighbours Aughnamullen.  (please check social media for a score) Next up on Tuesday the 12th of April  at 6.30pm is  Scotstown at home. Remember home games this year will be in Ballybay.
 
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U16 Division 1 – Last Thursday the U16s got their league campaign underway with a narrow 1 point loss away to the Harps. Full Time Score was St. Patrick’s 3-11 Monaghan Harps 4-9 This Thursday 7th of April at 6.30pm (tonight) Inniskeen make the visit to Páirc Mhic Eoin.
 
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U 14 Division 3  – The U14s  play Cremartin at home at 2pm this Saturday the 9th of April in the second game in the league. All players should be in Drumhowan for 1.30pm on Saturday. Again we ask our members to come out and support the boys.
Gerry’s Prepared Veg U12 –  Spring League –  Toome 0.11  Drumhowan 0.11  The U12s played out a draw with Toome on Saturday last the 2nd of April  in difficult conditions. Next game takes place on Saturday 16th  April at home to table toppers Magheracloone at 2pm. The Spring league finals day is fixed for the May Bank Holiday Monday. We may have a challenge game next Thursday evening, the 14th of April.
U10 – We had a game against the Clontibret parish community games team on Monday evening. This turned out an excellent game between two well matched teams despite the poor weather conditions. Thanks to Clontibret , Cremartin and Doohamlet for a good sporting match.
GO Games – The first Blitz of the season for both Under 8 & 10 teams takes place in Sean Mc Dermotts on this Saturday morning. All players should be in Threemilehouse for 9.40am on Saturday and the blitz will finish around 11.50am. Take a hoodie and gum shield with all players.
Training – Under 6-8-10 training continues every Monday evening 7-8pm. New players are welcome so just come along on the night and sign up. Keep up to date with training dates, times and games by following the clubs Facebook page. All registration forms should be handed back in at training this week.
 
Monaghan GAA/Comhairle na nÓg Quiz – congratulations to Cáit Brennan, Aogán Brennan, Orla Brennan and Joseph Duffy who won the Comhairle na nÓg Quiz in Cloghan last Saturday.
Crisis at the Clinic  – we urge every one to attend the hilarious comedy ” Crisis at the Clinic” this  Sunday the 10th of April  at 8pm  in the Community Centre. A perfect way to end the weekend
