Both teams however should be very proud of their Ulster title wins during the year. Special mentions to all the Donaghmoyne lads invovled, Oran Martin with the U16 team and David Garland, Ronan Mc Donald, Stephen Finnegan and Shane Woods with the U18 team.

Dinner Dance:

Saturday night last saw our Annual Dinner Dance take place in the Glencarn Hotel. A large crowd turned out on the night to celebrate our many achievements from 2015, with the highlight being the All Ireland Senior Club Championship. A total of 67 girls collected medals on the night with our Senior players picking up their fourth All Ireland Club medal and s number of juvenile players collecting as many as 11 medals on the night. Congratulations to all those who picked up player of the year awards. Senior – Eileen Mc Elroy, Intermediate – Fiona Courtney, Reserve – Gina Comiskey, Minor – Niamh Callan, U16 – Aisling Callan. Thanks to all the managers and trainers for their dedication and hard work throughout the 2015 season. Thanks to all the representatives from Ulster Council who joined us on the night. On a sadder note we remembered the great loss the club suffered in the last year, which was the passing of both

Martin Daly and Vincent Mc Connell. There were many fond stories shared by the numerous spreakers on the night with both men remembered and honoured for the great services they gave to our club over the past number of years. Both men will be greatly missed by all those involved in Donaghmoyne Ladies.
