See you there, and bring a friend or two!

U14 League:

Corduff Ladies got the 2016 season off to a winning start when the U14s defeated Doohamlet on Monday evening. In what was a very competitive encounter Corduff team led by Captain Elena McEnaney gave a super team performance. Corduff dominated the opening exchanges but by the interval both teams were level. Doohamlet opened stronger in the second half and by mid way through the half the sides were level again. The Corduff girls dug deep and edged out a well deserved victory on a score line of 5-7 to 4-7. Well done to management and players on a great start to the season. A special word of praise to the three new players Erica Smyth, Kerrie Ann Walshe and Fiona Corrigan who made their debut with Corduff Ladies! The team was as follows: Ciara Farrelly, Abbie McGivney, Shannon Duffy, Emily Hegarty, Georgia Smyth, Abbie Finegan, Elena McEnaney, Kerrie Ann Walshe, Erica Smyth, Kayla Hand, Annie Brennan and Fiona Corrigan.

U16 League:

The U16 League commences next Tuesday with Corduff at home to Doohamlet. Time to be confirmed.

County Development Day:

Well done to Erica Smyth who proudly represented Corduff Ladies in the parade of clubs and in a guard of honour prior to the Monaghan Ladies Senior match against Kerry last Sunday. Unfortunately the result didn’t go Monaghan’s way. Once again we were well represented on the team by Laura McEnaney, Naomi Cogan, Barbara Ward and Eva Woods.
