Juvenile training for the above age group continues on Wednesday evenings from 6-30pm to 7-30pm . New members welcome . Helmets and Hurls provided.

Under 14’s

Match v East Cavan Gaels postponed due to waterlogged pitch . Training each Wednesday night . Championship v Monaghan Harps next Monday evening .

Seniors

In conditions that could only be described as on the verge Our lads battled out a tremendous result over Naomh Colum Cille from Tyrone with the final score ending in 2-15 to 2-9. They had a strong end in the first half and got off to a good start but Brian Mc Guigan and Aaron Kenny took control on mid field laying off some great passes. Mark treanor got Blayney off the mark and finished with two points on the board, followed by two great pionts from Fergal Rafter. Fergal Rafter finishing 1-3. Nathan Adair had the game of his life also finishing on 1-3. Niall Garland Mr. reliable stepped up to take the frees and finished with six points. Aaron Kenny scored a vital point at a critical time in the game which was the start of Blayney pulling away. On all round good performance with solid displays from goalie Wayne Funcheon, Patrick Finnegan, Peter Treanor,   Eoin leonard, Fintan Finnegan in the backs
Bernard Connor at corner back and Brian mc guigan battling for man of the match. Niall Garland, Pauric Malone, Stephen Forde and Gerry Brady all doing well up front.
Well done lads keep up the good work.
Next Sunday we play Ballyshannon at 4pm. Its a home match for us but watch for further Details later.
